Kevin Kilcommons
Founding attorney. Forty-plus years of commercial litigation, business, franchise, and real-estate law — in service of entrepreneurs.
Why franchise law?
“I get entrepreneurs and I enjoy working with them. Of all the areas of law in which I have practiced, my favorite subject is franchise law. Franchising involves several industries — food, health, sports — with nearly 10,000 franchise brands in the USA alone, requiring specialized legal knowledge of the FTC regulations, federal and state statutes, and court decisions.”
Over many years of practice, Kevin has formed and helped a local company succeed as a national franchisor — ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine among the top 500 franchisors — and assisted many franchisees, from FDD review to ramping up their businesses, to negotiating and litigating disputes.
His experience spans commercial litigation, transactional and corporate law, and real estate. He has represented clients in numerous mediations and arbitrations, and brings a litigator’s eye to every agreement he drafts.
